Nusa’Lon’s full time season starts March 2nd and we accept tryouts from this date onward. Our practice days & times are Tuesday & Thursday 5:30 to 7:00 and an optional practice Saturday morning at 8:30am. I have attached our team brochure with information you will need to know. Our team is a fun, friendly group of women who are committed to our sport. Come out for a practice and try us out. Please send me an e-mail if you would like to try us out. Please feel free to pass my name along or bring out anyone that might be interested in paddling on a women’s competitive team.

We look forward to seeing you.

You know how it is… you meet a really nice lady, arrange for a date, and take her to the the Dinghy Dock and look forward to a pleasant evening. Being a Gentleman, you of course offer her a pint of Guinness…what self-respecting guy wouldn’t?

"Just one sip, ok?"

Then she asks – demurely, of course – if she might have “just one more pint.” Sure, she’s a little tipsy, but what self-respecting paddler could turn this cutie down?

Only too late do you come to realize that having paid for dinner and two pints of Guinness (you, being a paddler, of course do not drink), you’re stuck with every dragon boat paddler’s nightmare… an inebriated Teddy!!

Let this be a lesson to you. Just because she’s cute, cuddly and covered with fur doesn’t mean she’s cut out for life with a paddler!
